A big thank you to Carrie Ann Ryan for hosting this great hop!
I love Autumn because it goes with Halloween- my favorite holiday! I love the changing leaves- something I didn't have growing up in Southern California. What do you love?
One of the greatest things about being a writer is that I can include my favorite holidays and seasons in my books. I've gotten to do that in my Bella Vampires Series. Halloween is actually the birthday of one of the main characters. Just like the 13th of October is Emma's birthday, allowing for it to fall on Fridays! WOO HOO!
If you'd like to check out that series, it starts with Bella Notte. It's a crossover series that starts YA but won't end that way.
Bella Notte:
Vampires? Check. Werewolves? Check. Death prophecy to hang over your head? Double check. Seventeen year old Emma Hutchinson struggles to find her place in the world she has been born to as she tries to decide whether she should be with Michael, the boy she has been dreaming about since she was three or if she belongs with Dominic, her betrothed.

But Autumn is also a time to be thankful for things. I'm thankful that I'm able to be a stay at home mom and writer and for the roof over our heads and food in our bellies. I'm also thankful for some of the AMAZING people that writing has introduced me to. There is a young woman that originally reached out to me to let me know that my book helped her through her rounds of chemo for her Lupus. Her story touched my heart in a way I can't explain. She's doing a fundraiser for the Lupus Foundation right now if anyone wants to donate: http://www.gofundme.com/1hi640
