J P began writing her first novel back in 2009 after a
work related injury took her out of the job market.
Foreign to writing literature, her rough draft read more
like torture than paranormal. Although the plot had
been solid, not until she joined a local writer's group
did the book really begin to blossom.
She currently enjoys a successful writing career and
was recently featured as the April 2012 Author of the Month in the Paranormal Romance Guild.

YA suspense driven paranormal romance
Emily Stokes never thought that falling in love would put her smack dab in the middle of chaos, or have her questioning her
sanity! But when strange occurrences turn unbelievable, it becomes a race to save Emily from none other than the good-guys.
The first book in The Emily Stokes Series is entitled A Kiss for Emily. It's about a 17-year-old gal who lives in the heart of Kansas who's life is about to come unglued. It's YA, totally suspense-driven, and takes paranormal to a new level! If I tell you any more about the book, I'll have to include a spoiler alert because I can honestly say the less you know going into the story, the more you'll enjoy it! With that being said, here is the most I dare say:
Emily Stokes never thought that falling in love would put her in the middle of chaos, or have her questioning her own sanity! But when strange occurrences turn unbelievable, it becomes a race against time to save Emily from none other...than the good-guys.

Hello, I’m J P Galuska, author of A Kiss for Emily, ~ welcome to today’s interview with Bailey Tarper, a supporting character from The Emily Stokes Series. Emily Stokes and Bailey have been friends since the third grade after they found they shared a common interest: dipping french fries into chocolate shakes.
BT: I can’t believe you actually asked me to be here for this interview. This is so frickin cool!
JP: *laughs* Why wouldn’t I? You are one of Emily’s best friends.
BT: Especially after all we’ve been through, and that’s been a lot!
JP: So true. You and Emily seem to take turns receiving your knocks in life.
BT: Not like I’d like to trade places with her – at least I haven’t been locked up in the Looney Bin. God! Did I just say that? Don’t tell Em I just said that.
JP: *rolls eyes* Do you ever stop to filter what you say?
BT: *laughs* Maybe that’s what makes us friends; we both stick our foot in our mouth all the time!
JP: Stated like a wise man, er, I mean woman.
BT: So tell me, what happened up there anyways?
JP: I thought I was doing the interviewing.
BT: You’ve got to tell me something. Emily won’t say anything
about it. I can’t imagine…being admitted!
JP: Here’s a secret…you can always read the book, then you’ll know. How about we talk about you for a while?
BT: That’s not really fair, but okay. What do you want to know?
JP: You’re going to be a senior this year…have you thought about what you might like to do after you graduate?
BT: Definitely! I want to fly in the Air Force, or be a Navy Seal, or something cool like that.
JP: Really! I’d be afraid of getting killed.
BT: Not me. I’m all about pay-backs.
JP: Wow! That sounds pretty serious, but I think I understand. So, let’s switch gears here. What do you think of Sam?
BT: *sits up straight, blinks* I haven’t met Sam yet.
JP: *clears throat* I didn’t know Emily was keeping him a secret.
BT: What do you mean by secret?
JP: Sorry – poor choice of words.
BT: Have Clair or Rayyan met him yet? I’m gonna be mad if she’s introduced him to them and not me!
JP: I’m sure Emily wouldn’t do that. She’s just probably busy…out there…in little Silver Lake.
BT: Oh whatever! I know you’re just taunting me now.
JP: Ohhhh, I would never do anything like that!
