Hallie and her mother go to the yoga studio. Hallie wants to join her mom's yoga class, but she isn't allowed. She complains to the babysitter, who gently guides her through four yoga poses. Hallie learns that not only is yoga easy, but fun as well.
Being a parent of a 2 and 6 year old, I understand all too well about the "I want to.... too" moments that happen in life. Carole does a fantastic job at capturing just what happens when you go about teaching a little one something they wanted to do without telling them exactly what they're doing. :)
The story is short and perfect for reading aloud- we read several stories a night, so shorter books are a blessing! On top of that, it's informative, like many of Carole's books.
If you have a little one that's interesting in yoga, or is curious about what Mommy or Daddy does when they go to yoga, this might be a great book for you to pick up. It's definitely worth the read and I highly recommend checking out her other books as well!. I love all her series!
