Julie and Brad Evans are house flippers. They buy low, clean out the old occupants junk, and try to make a profit. Enter Hemmings House on Bedlam Street in scenic Cold Spring Harbor, Long Island. Too good a deal to pass up, but with an ominous secret. The old Victorian Mansion has dwellers that do not want to be dispossessed. As the house reveals it's past, will the couples marriage survive The Flip?
I must say that Michael really has a talent for writing the creepy. Along with putting coupled people into some very interesting situations. :)
Michael does it again by creating more characters that are well- rounded and likeable, that he's taken the time to develop and turn from 2-dimensional words to people and thrown them into that house... *shudders*
This is the kind of book that leaves you in suspense from the beginning to the end and you really want to know what happens and what thing Michael will toss the characters way.
