Let me start off by saying that I LOVE the new cover. It does the stories more justice visually...
Now, as you hopefully know, I FREAKING LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this series! I fell in love with it as soon as I read the first volume.
The main character is amazing. We need MORE strong, amazing, kickass female heroines out there... She is quick witted, strong, amazing, deals with the strange without too much over reaction, and she exists in two worlds at the same time.
This volume keeps up with the awesomeness that Ken and Isbella have been throwing at us readers! They definitely understand the great research, attention to detail, and developed characters that make a series worth reading and investing your interest in! If you've not read the first books (there are 2 volumes or six books before this one!) then you need to! If you have, then why haven't you picked this one up?!
This series is epic. If you love YA, fantasy, Grimm with a new spin, or awesomeness, then you HAVE TO READ IT!

Ken Brosky received his MFA in fiction writing from the University of Nebraska-Omaha, and his BA in creative writing from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. To date, he's had more than a dozen short stories published in literary journals, including Gargoyle, Barcelona Review and Midwestern Gothic.
This is Isabella Fontaine's first Young Adult series. In addition to managing the family farm, she also enjoys providing design-related services for those who meet the qualification of "fashion nightmare."
