My daughter is 2.5 years old and she found it to be FREAKING AWESOME! I spent over an hour playing with her and she was "making [me] up." I've never been so fearful for my own eyes in my entire life! LOL! Did she love it?! Oh, heck yes! And the best part... No mess to clean up after!
The kit has high quality stuff that can take a little beating without breaking. It was great for helping with hand/eye coordination.

It was also a fun thing to try and teach her what each thing was for. My mom never did that when I was little. So that was fun as well.
I think this is a great pretend toy for any little girl. I am positive if my 6 yr old son had been around, he would've tried to get in on the action too.
I highly recommend Little Cosmetics. It promotes pretend play and imagination, it promotes play time with other kids and parents, there is NO mess afterwards, and it's just plain fun- what more could you possibly want from a kids' toy?
