Okay, by a show of hands, how many have seen this movie? Come on, I am talking to you. Put that hand up!
I absolutely love this movie. Meg Ryan is funny and cute, the way only she can be. And Kevin Kline does the "French" guy so well. I know it isn't a recent movie, but there are TONS of reviews fresh off the page of those. So I figure, how about I get started with movies I've seen, past and present.
Anyways, French Kiss. This movie came out in 1995.
This is a quick idea of what's it about (according to quick little sum up by imdb.com): a woman who flies to France to confront her straying fiancé and gets into trouble when the charming crook seated next to her uses her to smuggle a stolen diamond necklace.
Now anyone that has seen that movie knows that there is SO MUCH MORE going on than just that!

Meg Ryan's character making fun of Kevin Kline's, she says: " You people make my ass twitch" (of course, it's said with a very over the top French accent)!

After Meg Ryan's character eats some delicious cheese on the train and she shouts out: LACTOSE INTOLERANCE! I can see this happening to me, although I am not that big a fan of cheese to begin with.
The story is one of those romantic comedies that just warms your heart and makes you fall in love with the characters. You want everything to turn out perfect for them... and maybe see the jerkwad fiancé fall flat on his stupid face.
The film received mixed reviews when it came out, but that hasn't stopped me from loving it and I hope if you've never seen it, that you give it a chance. This movie is a great RomCom!
