This is a great shirt. It isn't that scratchy kind of shirt either, which is SO important when you have it on a kiddo. My 5 year old was excited to get the shirt, I didn't tell him anything about it before it got here. When it came, I told him he got a new shirt. He saw it, asked what it said, we sounded it out and he immediately wanted to put it on. Always a good sign, in my opinion. It's a good fit. My son is huge for his size, so what a normal 5 year old wears doesn't fit him at all. So we always order up in size. We got the perfect fit here with a YM.
She totally plowed into him and he was more worried about her than his bike or himself!
He played hard in it- even getting run over by his little sister on her scooter! The shirt held up very well to them and their playing. Since he was working on riding his bike, we took some dives in it and it survived!
By the end of the day, he was still talking about his cool shirt and how he loved his sister. It survived dinner and didn't stain or anything when washed- even came back out a little softer, but not faded!
