This was the first time I had used a knife sharpener. I have to admit, I was a little scared of it at first. Not because it's big or anything, it's not that big at all. And it securely suctions to the counter without any problems, but I was afraid I might slice open my hands or chop something off! LOL. I know it sounds silly, but I've never sharpened a knife before.
This worked great. I had been meaning to get a sharpener, and this was perfect. It made the blades nice and sharp. There was nothing too scary about the process and it was simple and painless- no chopped, sliced, or harmed parts.
I'd recommend this to anyone that needs a compact sharpener that does a great job!
