What is LoL?
According to Wikipedia:

League of Legends is a multiplayer online battle arena video game developed and published by Riot Games for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X, inspired by the mod Defense of the Ancients for the video game Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne. It is a free-to-play game, supported by micro-transactions. It was first announced on October 7, 2008, and released on October 27, 2009. League of Legends was generally well received at release, and has grown in popularity in the years since.

For you non-gamers, it's a game you play online and beat stuff up. :)

If you're an LoL player than you'll absolutely want to take advantage of their 5-day trial- it will be a big help!

Now, here's the catch, if you've never played LoL before but you really want to and are hoping to get some awesome tidbits from this, you might want to go through the in-game tutorial and learn some of the lingo before you drop yourself into- otherwise you'll be confused about what they're talking about.

Now that being said, if you play the game or if you're willing to take a little time to get familiar with it- then this is a golden ticket to get you where you want to be. I spent most of my time looking at the in-game and team-game sections. They really break things down, but again, you'll be totally lost if you have no understanding of the game. It will be like they're speaking a different language, because essentially they are- they're talking LoL.
