Here's what I have to think about it...
The Review:
This works great for oblong shaped pills... like Tylenol or others in that shape. As you can see from the padding on the inside to nest the pill it, that is truly what it's designed for. Does it work with other shaped pills? Yeah, but the cut isn't as even. Does that make it less awesome? Nope!
I used it without problem to split different shaped and types of pills. Each one was easy to do and the result was a nice cut, better than if I was trying to break it with my hands- possibly crumbling it between my fingers.
If you need a pill cutter around the house, this is a good one. I wasn't too worried about the kids cutting off digits either. So I recommend it for those that need a nice pill cutter... and for those that think they don't need one... one day you'll wish you had one... just saying.
