Here's what I think:
My dear hubby is a plumber. He does mainly commercial work and I always hear him talk about the damage he does to his gloves (he replaces them frequently). I figured this would be a great time to try out a new glove that I found for him (Yes, I really do try to find him cooler and better stuff for his work experience). When I saw these gloves I figured it was a good idea.
When he came home for the holidays, I made him try them out. Yes, I'm evil enough to make him fix things around the house when he's on "vacation." It was the best chance to see the gloves in action and get his instant feedback.
He liked how they felt. He said that they felt protective but still allowed him dexterity. This is a big complaint with him from some of the other gloves he's used. He works with small pieces and sometimes by mere touch alone when he's working in a tight spot - so being able to feel things and not have big clumsy fingers was a huge thing for him.
The grip worked nicely. We didn't wet them, so I can't comment on that, but he liked the grip.
Since he didn't bust open the gloves, hack off a finger, or injure himself while wearing them, I have to assume they are a good pair of gloves. Hubby seemed pleased with them and since he does the work that they're for, I'd say that's a glowing review. :) So we recommend them.
