The Review:
There is just something about the way that Nell writes. I feel in love with the first book I read from her, The Gingerbread House, and ever since I can't wait to find another read by her.
This book is no different in quality than her other awesome reads. Nell has done another great job at writing an amazing female role that has a cocky, smexy man opposite. I love Jen and Jared. They dynamics between the two is smoldering.
Nell has done a great job at developing the world around her characters. She has a flair for character arcs and pulling the reader into the story in a way that makes you truly care about what happens to the characters.
I've read a great mix from her, and I hope that she keeps on writing, because I will certainly keep reading!

I was born in Philadelphia but grew up primarily in Seattle. I obtained my degree in Literature from the College of Creative Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara. I now live in Denver with my husband Ben and our beautiful baby boy, Cole. In my spare time I work on the endless renovations of our 1922 bungalow.
